Interim Management

Interim Management in today's business...

Interim management is a temporary type of business management. It is also sometimes referred to as “temporary management”.

Areas of application:

  • Interim managers take responsibility for the results of their work in a line position or in projects.
  • Interim managers leave the company or the occupied position as soon as the problem is solved or the project is completed.
  • Interim managers are often used in crisis management to restructure parts of the company or to bridge staff shortages.
  • They often act as a “fire brigade” for management and take on unpleasant restructuring or closures.

Interim management offers a flexible solution if the company's own capacities or project management know-how are not sufficient.
